Provisioning services The provisioning services in the Netherlands, which provides food and fresh water for human consumption, are: - open dunes, - rivers, - sea, - natural grassland. Approximately 75% of food are providing by ecosystems from the Netherlands. Approximately 50% of fresh drink water are providing by own (The Netherlands) ecosystems. That means the approximately 25% of food are importing and also 50% of drink water is importing from another countries. b. Regulating services The 'Erosion prevention' and 'maintenance of soil fertility' are two examples of regulating services in the Netherlands. c. Habitat or Supporting services The National Parks are the area's which provide conditions for animals and plants to grow. d. Cultural services There are a lot of area's in the nature that provides a Recreation and mental and physical health for inhabitants of all ages. Biking, jogging, walking are favorite activities that people like to do.
