One of the functions of a city is to give shelter and comfort to its inhabitants. The weather could cause quite some discomfort to the citizens, but this could be aggravated by the urban landscape. Hot-spots were the city is causing more than normal discomfort are not always easily identified. This could be because of changing weather conditions and new or changed buildings. For the citizens it could also not always be easy to clearly express what has caused to discomfort, be it wind, sunlight, noise, loss of sight or temperature. The app I propose is to let every citizen gather data when they actually experience discomfort. Via a GPS connection the location and local weather will be recorded. Simultaneously the citizen will record their feeling on five factors: wind nuisance, sunlight (too bright or too dark), noise, sight (including glare and smog) and temperature (too low or too high). With enough data the government can identify hot-spots where (in certain weather conditions) a large number of people are not comfortable.
