1. What are the dominant fossil fuels used in your country? The oil products and natural gas are the dominant fossil fuels used in the Netherlands. 2. Where are the dominant fossil fuels mainly used for in your country? The oil products are used preliminary in 'Transport' and 'Non-energy'. The natural gas is used preliminary in 'Others' and 'Industry'. (see picture) 3. It is your task to create a new policy in order to improve the environmental friendly and sustainable sources and consumption of energy of your country. - To develop regulations for industrial organizations to reduce energy consumption and CO2-production. - To create the attractive regulations to let inhabitants installation of the renewable energy applications in their houses, also in commercial and non-profit organizations such as schools and hospitals. - To apply during development of new buildings the principle of 'trias energetica': reduce energy demand, apply sustainable energy sources, fossil energy efficiently. - To develop electric transport technology and make it attractive for average users.
