The CITYLAB APP is meant to convert citizens into responsive agents. These agents using geotagging technology can Complement, Suggest or Complain using photographs/text/key words/documents/etc. or search already submitted ideas of a particular location and vote them either up or down. These responses allow not only policy makers and politicians, but also citizens themselves, to become aware, and participate in the creation and development of their city. We facilitate the submission process by allowing citizens to submit any information they’d like, from suggesting the construction of a new park, to complementing a newly placed speed bump, to complaining about power outages and water quality. Each governmental agency, and each citizen can use smart search engines powered using Artificial Intelligence to find relevant claims or ideas and also suggest to merge ideas, or improve them by creating a dialogue with its creator. The APP creates statistics using frequently used terms to inform all users, whilst allowing policy makers to mark ideas as completed, under review, or declined with a relevant explanation.
