My municipal App would have the following functions: • Allow every citizen to vote directly on every municipal ordinance instead of the municipal representatives. • A forum for citizens to discuss and propose changes and amendments to every municipal ordinance • A system for citizens to propose and amend ordinances. • A budgeting system like an online participatory budgeting. • A platform to vote or decide on specific design clues of projects in their area (from choosing the colour of new benches, to voting the design of a new park). • Visualize data and information on the city in all aspects, social, environmental, budgetary etc. • An accountability module with complete transparency for citizens to track the actions of the municipal government. • A data-gathering platform with including passive data collection and surveys on specific topics. • Pay for municipal services and obtain municipal permits. • Allow citizens to report specific events for the municipal government to handle such as a pothole on the street.
