Located on northeast of Brazil, with 34 km of beaches, Fortaleza is a city with 2.6 millions of habitants, with average temperature of 30ºC. Fortaleza is one of the cities with the highest index of social inequality in Brazil. Because of this, more people avoid to walk on the streets, preferring use car transportation, or staying in your houses. In some areas we see high walls, separating the condominiums, from the outsiders, changing the sidewalks to an empty space. Thinking about this, we can create an app to identify this areas, with help from the citizens, we can choose the best pathway to walk. The main ideia of "GO FOR A WALK", It's to create a map of walkability in the city. Every person can use the app to map your daily walkway, on the streets, choose the best pathway to reach your destination. You can rate every block of your neighborhood, choosing the sensation that you have, when you walk there. If It's safe, or danger; enjoyable, or uncomfortable; wooded, or without trees; crowd, or empty; and et cetera. With this data we can identify the best pathway, to walk in your city, increasing the sense of welfare.
