My idea of an app would be an app that is connected to the waste management. Here in the US it is common, that the products, that could be recycled are collected in one waste bin. That ends in much work for the waste management companies, as they have to sort the recycling stream in the facilities. Some cities have the possibility to collect some parts of the recycling in a extra Container. So for example in some cities there are special glas collecting containers. No everyone knows about them, so my app would use the GPS of the phone, tell the customer where the person is and show him the closest facility to recycle. Within the app there could be also an Q+A from the city, where to recycle which product. Furthermore there should be a tool where the user of the app could decide where to place new bins, and what kind of recycling they would like to do. So in the end both would win, the people would be happy to have the possibility to do their share and the city would safe money, as they don`t have to sort.
