The old city of Delhi is very crowded, living space is scarce (inhabitants have small compartments) and electricity is wired over-ground on wooden poles. Transportation is done via Tuk Tuks or Rikshas (open people-carrying vehicles), loads are moved by hand-drawn wagons or small trucks. People depend on these infrastructures and improvise if something breaks down.
