1-The dominant fossil fuels used in Lebanon is “Oil products” around 7534 Ktoe. 2-The dominant fossil fuels mainly used for “transport” around 1913 Ktoe. Almost 25% of the total. 3-New policy in order to improve the environmental friendly and sustainable sources and consumption of energy in Lebanon. Shift to a sustainable way of transport, knowing that this sector consumes the highest amount of energy almost 25%. This could be achieved by optimizing public transport systems such as BRTs (Bus Rapid Transit system), educate citizens on car-pooling and the shift to a more efficient fuel for transportation.
