This place is a central locality in my neighbourhood in Chennai. In the image you can see the traffic congestion and chaos. This is a regular occurrence not in terms of days but in every signal change. You can see the southeast corner road which is the road connecting neighbourhood road to the main road. There are two invisible information here. 1. The influx of population into urban areas and the number of vehicles or road users that has been increasing in past years. This location is a constant source of noise and pollution throughout the day. This information can be utilised in improving the present scenarios of a high density neighbourhood. A survey of people crossing this segment can be derived into knowledge of movement and it's consequent effects detrimental to society can be analysed. Subsequently a plan can be formulated for example rerouting of traffic, more organised pedestrian pathways and signals it propose a flyover.
