Provisioning Services: In Porto Alegre the fresh water comes from the Gauíba Lake. Currently the water is non-drinkable but it is treated by the water company and there is a project to improve the quality of the water by 2027. Regulating services: The city of Porto Alegre is one of the most wooded cities of Brazil. There are several parks to help with the climate and trees along the streets. Habitat or supporting services: Porto Alegre has several areas of environmental preservation, among them there is the Lami biological reserve, and the São Pedro refuge for the wild life. They include the preservation of fauna and flora. Cultural Services: Alegre has many parks, the most famous ones being Farroupilha Park, Marinha do Brasil Par, and Moinhos de Ventos Park. They constitute a very important place for people’s recreation. Also the city has many museums, a planetarium and sports courts. The image I chose shows the Guaíba Lake
