FC-01x Future Cities (Self-Paced) - Exercise 3: "Factors of Livability"

The top five livable cities that I've experienced: Seoul, Korea Bangkok, Thailand Hong Kong, China Quezon City, Philippines Cebu City, Philippines Characteristics that I think make up a livable city are: Work-Life-Recreation Integration. Vibrant Pedestrian Community Safety & Security Transport & Mobility Parks & Civic Spaces In line with the above-mentioned characteristics, what I like in Quezon City is that it has generous amounts of parks and open areas compared to other cities in the country. As it is a large city, population is fairly distributed, with ample work opportunities in key districts. Even though it has numerous civic spaces, the pedestrian community is not as vibrant as one would expect, as they are mostly concentrated near air-conditioned shopping complexes. Having more well-connected, pedestrian-oriented developments within the city will help alleviate this state, as they are currently quite few and far from each other. As with other cities in the country, traffic is also one of the main problems of the city, which I think can be addressed by having a well-connected transport system.
