This photo shows the building of the ministry of education and health in Rio de Janeiro. It is a proper example of the concrete and glass architecture. This type of building is very common in Brazil but it represents a problem. Due to Brazil's climate, during the summer months the temperature gets really high and it becomes impossible for people to work inside the buildings whitout ar conditioning. This type of architecture, that is commonly found in norther countries represents a problem for the economy in Brazil when we consider that we have power shortages due to the excess of eletricity used for ar conditioning during the summer.
