The transport (both public and road infrastructure) is important issue in the Netherlands. The Netherlands is a small country with high density of habitat. People have to travel between their living place and working place. For example, the highways are flows and the parking places are stocks of cars. For the the public transport there are train-stations and bus-stations. The train- and bus stations are often combined. For the future the roads infrastructure has to be more wide to improve transportation and to avoid traffic jams. Another trend is the digitalisering. That makes possible for people to work everywhere: at office, in the train, in the cafe and also at home. The people don't have to travel. In the future there are less office buildings needed. The empty building can get a new function, for example a hotel. The following stocks can be also defined: - offices ares (outside the cities) - industrial areas (outside the cities) - furniture and shopping areas - hospitals - (high)schools and universities - libraries
