This is a photo from an electric commuter train. Shown are the extensive network of electrical cables that are used to power the trains. Furthermore, you can also see residential power lines, which power the residential buildings in the mid and background of the photo. Furthermore their is a construction site, which also uses electricity from the urban power grid. These electrical systems are present on a urban (residential power) and territorial scale (train network). The train network connects the hinterlands and surrounding territory of Melbourne with the CBD. Furthermore, there are 3 primary modes of transport in this system, electric/diesel buses, a vast electric tram network, intersecting with the regional train network, and the aforementioned electrical train network. Thus there is a visible electrical network, that is widely utilized.
