These buildings are an apartment complex for rent in Fukuoka city in Japan. The main building materials are concrete, rebar, steel frame and glass. For concrete and glass, almost all are produced domestically in Japan. On the other hand, for rebar and steel frame, almost all of iron stones as raw materials are imported, about 85% of which are from Australia and Brazil. Some steels are made by recycling old automobiles and building scraps. And processing to rebar and steel frame is done almost in Japan. In addition, the energy sources necessary for manufacturing, processing, and transporting both concrete, glass, rebar and steel frame are mainly petroleum, which is mostly imported from the Middle East. In this way, you can see these apartments are made in the global supply chain.
