Unfortunately I didn`t find any research on UHI effects in Kyiv, but I think it`s not significant. On the one hand Kiyv is hilly and on the other quite green. Also we have many districts that a of rural time ( just small one-family houses with gardens ) in city structure - and I live in one of them - so my photo will be from such a place from the roof of my house. And I think the most UHI effect in Kyiv is not in downtown but in newly built areas with huge density of tall buildings - I`ll show you one of this on photo (the photo is`nt mine) I think it must be firstly collecting data and analysis than maybe simulation processes and than it must lead to urban planning rules of city development.
