The sun hurts people more. Workers get tired faster. People enjoy less in recreational spaces. Puebla is 19 grades hotter in the city than in nearby rural areas. summers are 0.8 grades hotter than in rural areas. There are no policies in my community to reduce the UHI effect, but I propose to get better public transportation to avoid driving.
