List of the five most liveable cities that I know, based on my own experience and judgment is as follows: 1. Wien 2. Basel 3. Copenhagen 4. Paris 5. Kraków List of the five characteristics that according to my opinion make a city liveable. 1. Accessible and user - friendly public spaces 2. Well - developed public transport system 3. Mixed - use 4. Cycling, walking and public transport as a preferable mode. 5. Access to the sources such as energy, water, etc. Describe the status of your own city regarding the five characteristics that you listed above. Propose how your city should/could be transformed in relation to these characteristics in order to be more sustainable. My home city, Warsaw in Poland has transformed in the past 15 years. Still, there are problems which need to solved to make it more liveable. In my opinion, creating new public spaces which are easily accessible by various users with the allocation of different functions can bring more people to this area.
