1.Melbourne, Frankfurt, Berlin, Wien, Kopenhagen 2. Safety and openness cultural and social diversity Blue and green qualities efficient public transportation/ infrastructure/ Good to cycle and walk in Quiet and active areas 3. Oslo is a safe place to live in. Openness could be better, i think this is closely connected with the next point: cultural and social diversity. Norway is situated on the edge of Europe, it was never a specially important place for trading. Inhabitants have mainly been farmers and fishers. Though Oslo is a highly develloped city now, it is still quite homogenous in many areas. People tend to do their thing, and let you do your thing, but it is difficult to get warm. Oslo itself is partet in the eastern and the vestern part of the city. The west being more conservative, white and with more ressourses. I think this has been traditionally like that, because the air quality was better in the west, than in the east, where many factories had been. Blue and green qualities are very good, lots of water and wood around. Public transportation is not very efficient, though the metro is getting extended, slowly. There is a big potential for improving the cycle network, but at least the municiples have realised during the last years.Cars should loose its importance. Oslo has some different types of areas, both quiet and active areas. The outside live culture has develloped much during the last years. Unfortunately it is very expensive to go out.
