Monterrey is mainly a industrial city and has become the biggest and most important city in the north of Mexico. Because of its business and industrial nature one of the main stocks and flows in the city is people. There is a large flow of people coming and going out of city to do buisness. The second Stock is the universities, which every day create a huge flow of people towards it. The city has more than 10 different universities, from which 3 are the most important. This 3 cause a flow of people of people towards it and a flow of information in between the students and professors. The final important stock of the city are mountains, the city is surrounded by mountains and it's even called the city of mountains. This stock creates diferent flows, one of them being the flow of people going to them. A second flow is the flow of materials that are obtain from them, since several sections of some mountains are being used as Quarries.
