1) London, Berlin, Amsterdam, Vienna and Curitiba. 2) Services and public infrastructure, air/water/waste management, green areas, flat terrains, low height buildings. 3) I live in São Paulo, full of high buildings that blocks the view of the city’s landscape; where the terrain is not flat and walkability is very low; most of its green areas are located in its surroundings, far from the urban center; there is almost no air/water management and a very poor waste management; but there are plenty of services and public infrastructure in the urban center, far better than almost all cities I have ever visited so far. So I would rate São Paulo with a 6 from a scale 0-10 of livability. Education and engagement of São Paulo residents are the main and most difficult aspects to make any change in the previously mentioned characteristics. With an educated and motivated population we could absolutely better use the so rich natural and human resources São Paulo have and make this city one of the most sustainable and livable metropolis on Earth, promoting better mobility options, reviewing city zoning and making it more mixed-use oriented, recycling most of the waste generated and regulating the industries that chooses non sustainable practices or make and sell non sustainable products here, creating more green areas in the urban center and reviewing the social function of many particular proprieties, etc.
