1. The dominant fossil fuels used in Peru are Oil production and Import (13.63 Mtoe) and Gas production (13.16 Mtoe) / Total (34.91 Mtoe) 2. The dominant fossil fuels mainly used for in Peru is Transportation (5.90 Mtoe) / Total (16.92 Mtoe) 3. Nowadays in Peru there few laws that contribute sustainable sources and consumption of energy, neither the majority of the population are not conscious about the enerfy flows. As the mainly demand is transport ironically one of the considerable issues is the traffic. My first policy would be reduce the oil demand by shifting into electric buses, the consequence would be less traffic and decrease CO2 emissions. There is a small number of peruvian privileged by photovoltaic panels, so I would invest to encourage rest of the population, but first show the benefits of it. Also exploit "vientos Paracas" located in Ica to produce their own energy and the distribute around the country. Image: Lima traffic at 7:30 pm in a regular day
