1. The dominant fossil fuels used in my country (India) are Oil and Coal. 2. Since India is a developing country, the dominant fossil fuels are used in Industry and Transport. 3. The use of renewable energy should be our utmost priority and the existing rules regarding energy consumption shall be amended according to the same. India has a vast area coverage and hence it has a wide source of renewable energy, whether it’s in the form of solar power or wind energy. The country also has a large coastline as the sea surrounds the country from three sides, thus Tidal energy can also be utilised. At micro level, the use of bio-digesters or energy from septic tanks in the form of biogas (methane) can be extracted and utilised for day to day chores. Everyone should have a broader perspective in terms of energy consumption for sustainability of the Country.
