I have no direct public transport connection from home to work. The distance is in total 15 km, I have to pass the entire city from the east to the west. As I live close by to the train or bus station, there is no distance to walk really. Either I take the route with two trains (what I usually do) or I take the route with first the bus and then the train. Of course I could go by bike, which would take me 49 minutes from home to work – downhill! But vice versa it would take me 1 hours and 30 minutes… uphill.
