1) Copenhagen, Toronto, Barcelona, Vancouver, Curitiba. 2) Economy, education, environment, transport (mobility), security. 3) I live in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and one of the biggest problems we are living in the country is related to the economy, affecting the employment of people, especially in large cities, and consequently the quality of life. In addition, the lack of government investment in improvements also affects the livability of the city. In terms of education, Belo Horizonte has good schools, but most are private, and public schools receive little government investment, affecting the training of young people. The government has invested in a rapid transport system (MOVE) as a solution to urban mobility, but much of the population still does not benefit from it. The city also has problems with cycling routes that do not connect and the subway only serves the central area. In relation to the environment, there are beautiful parks and squares, but also, especially in the periphery, we see open-air streams where residential sewage is dumped, and there is no treatment of any kind. In terms of security, there is not enough policing and when there are, they are concentrated in only a few areas of the city. I believe that for a city to be more sustainable and quality of life, it is important that every citizen do their part to help, but it is also necessary that the city government invest in urban improvements.
