Sketch on pathways to my school Linnéuniversity in Växjö, Sweden. Route 1 is the normal route I take to school because its easier. It is not the fastest way but its the most reliable. Route one is only walking to school and it takes about 3,5 minutes at a distance of 300meters. On cold mornings you would wake up and feel refreshed when you get to your destination. On hot days you would rather feel the wind than sitting on a bus. I feel the most happy when i walk to school at this distance and i would continue doing so if the distance doesnt get higher than 1000 meters. This route is good for social engagements, meeting up fellow students on your way, good environmental scenery etc. Route 2 is taking the bicykle to school and then a small walk. I dont do this because its already such a short distance. It is more work to lock the bike etc than it is just walking there. This route is great if you have something else to do after school, so you could take the bike there. This will increase environmental feeling and happyness. Lack of social engagements. Route 3 is taking the bus. First you would have to walk to the busstation, then wait for the bus and then walk to school. This alternative is not smart because its really a short distance and it costs money. The time needed is probably more to reach your destination than all other routes because you would have to wait for the bus also. This route lack everything because of the short distance, lack of social engagements, lack of environment etc.
