1. The most Important Stocks and flows entering my city Hamirpur are Students (People), Water and Food. 2. Since Hamirpur is an Educational City each year many new students take admission here and eventually many of them pass out and return to their respective hometowns. Further, Hamirpur attains its water requirements from a nearby tributary of Beas River as it is a small 5km Sq. that is the only source of water that is the Stock of the city. Lastly, since it’s a hill settlement most of the food is transported from elsewhere and the food is also a major stock and flow as it is transported from other cities, consumed, transferred and finally flows out as waste. 3. The Stocks and flows if used in a judicious manner could change the future of the city for maximum benefit. For instance if quality education is provided in a more consistent level. The stock and flow of quality students shall enhance the economy as well as the reputation of the institutes. Then, if water is judiciously used and rather conserved it may last for longer, also the trees shall make the process continuous by enabling cloud to shed water at regular intervals to maintain a stock of water. Finally, the waste generated from food could be converted into manure and returned to the farmers of the nearby cities from where they attain there food stock.
