1. SAFETY 2. JOB OPPORTUNITIES 3.POLITICAL STABILITY 4.HOUSING 5.SANITATION STANDARDS I reside in Bangalore, India. 1.POLITICAL STABILITY – Free to roam around and free to voice opinions. 2.EDUCATION – Reputed University. 3.CLIMATE – Very pleasant and comfortable climate 4.HOUSING – Reasonable housing with all amenities 5.SAFETY – Relatively safer as compared to other cities. POLITICAL STABILITY – 70 EDUCATION – 80 CLIMATE -85 HOUSING – 80 SAFETY – 50 OVERALL LIVABILITY SCORE – 70 If I was the mayor of the city, first thing I would do to make the city more livable would be to bring about safety reforms as In the current state of city, it is unsafe for women to walk by themselves at night. I would also take on more reforms to improve the sanitary conditions and waste disposal and management. Presently, there Is garbage thrown all over the city, creating ideal conditions for disease carrying mosquitoes to breed. Three places I would move to : 1.Bangkok, Thailand. – Safe, Efficient public transportation, Affordable housing, various recreational facilities, friendly neighbourhood and good education. 2.Lausanne, Switzerland. – Less Polluted, Public buses and trains are efficient. Good universities and schools, Good climate and scenic environment, Safe. 3.Goa, India. – If I had to choose a city in India, It would be goa, its less polluted and clean, safe for women unlike many cities in India, It has good recreational facilities, climate is good.
