On the photo lots of buildings and skyscrapers can be seen that are already built or still being built. In streets there are cars and people, but one cannot observe traffic or crowd. There is no green-field except a few trees, also no park is located in this area. I am going to deal with two visible sides of this area: buildings and traffic. There are lots of buildings most of whom seem new-built, which may mean that there is an urban renewal. In Istanbul, urban renewal is implemented in growing areas. On the back side of the photo skyscrapers that have been already built and skyscrapers still being built can be seen, which means that this area of the city is growing and be used also by businesswomen and -men. Although there are so many buildings which may mean that the population of this area actually high, no traffic or crowd can be observed. My opinion about it would be that this area is just for accomadation, not for shopping or job and this makes this area of the city to be visited just by its habitants. Another significant point that cannot be seen on the photo is that Istanbul keeps growing. The photo is taken from Maltepe, which is a district on anatolian side of Istanbul and it can be defined as a district which is actually far away from Istanbul's center, where most of the population live. The increasing population starts spreading through the Istanbul, leading people in away districts where the population is less. All in all, one can say after taking a look at the photo, that this area is growing and its population is increasing. These cases cause a renewal for modern buildings such as skyscrapers that also can accomodate lots of people. Despite the increasing population, this area of the city has no problems such as traffic and can be defined as a peaceful place for its habitants.
