The Following Ecosystem services are there in our living area: 1.Provisioning services ( “ecosystem services that describe the material or energy outputs from ecosystems” (TEEB)) 2.Regulating services ( “ services that ecosystems provide by acting as regulators” (TEEB)) 3.Habitat or Supporting services 4.Cultural services Examples : 1.Provisioning services (Food, Fresh water,) 2.Regulating services (Waste-water treatment, Local climate and air quality, 3.Habitat or Supporting services (Habitats for species) 4.Cultural services (Recreation and mental and physical health,Tourism, Aesthetic appreciation and inspiration for culture, art and design, spiritual experience and sense of place)
