1. Dominant fossil fuels used in Brazil The dominant fossil fuel in my country is oil production with 122.8 Mtoe. 2. Dominant fossil fuels mainly used for in Brazil The oil which is the dominant fossil fuel, is mainly used for Transportation with 68.7 Mtoe and Industry with 33.8 Mtoe. 3. New policy in order to improve the environmental friendly and sustainable sources and consumption of energy It is clear that Brazil doesn’t give enough value towards sustainable sources. I believe the main focus is to encourage the population to go after ways to produce their own energy through solar panels for example. There is a predominance of fuel vehicles in the country, which creates an environment with high emission of polluting chemicals. There is also a lack of efficient and diverse public transportation, being it predominantly carried by buses. For these reasons I suggest the use of electric cars and buses, but also the implementation of subways and train lines that will reduce the amount of cars and buses in the streets.
