This is an image of the main railway station of the city- CHHATRAPATI SHIVAJI TERMINUS commonly referred to as CST Station. The middle class commuters travel everyday for work using this local rail network . Students also use this to travel to the Mumbai University. The trains run on electricity. It could be called the main backbone of travel and work in the city which is elongatedly shaped making it difficult to travel by road due to long distances.
