Following are the important stocks & flows in my area. 1.COAL the city has stocks of coal deposits nearby, the extraction of coal and production of electricity are the major employment source. but this has led to heavy exploitation of this non- renewable source which is at the verge of extinction and has caused heavy damage to the wildlife of the area. In future other renewable source of energy such as sunlight needs to used for electricity production, for more sustainable future. 2.FRUITS the climatic condition doesn't allow for local production of fruits. thus these needs to be imported from other states, this flow of fruits cater the demand but around 15% of the fruits are wasted due to improper storage. 3.WASTE The waste produced in the city is around 1800 tons/day. It is mainly contributed by the residences, industries and constructional waste. in future we ensure recycling of the waste produce by the industries and treating the waste before discharge to ensure a healthier and cleaner habitat.
