Photo taken at Växjö, focused at the city beyound the sea. Step 1: Gothenburg Växjö Stockholm Uppsala Jönköping Step 2: Work/study: The opportunity to find work or study is very important for me. Since studying is the key to find a nice job that would start my carreer, and the work for me to get the resourses needed to survive. Housing: Being able to find a place to live, at a certain price, at a certain place in the city, close to my work is important to me. Infrastructure: The city must have good transportation connections so it would be fast and environmentally good to travel in town. It must also have good tele-communication systems and other technology that smart cities has. Making life easier when you travel in the city or being able to find places or people. Being able to call or connect to fast insternet etc. Environment/Nature: Nature in cities is important for my well beeing, also the pollution decreases and happyness rises. These comes in form of parks or untouchted areas. Art and other artistic stuff can be placed at these areas that would benifit my creativity. Safety: A place where i can feel safe, both night and day, being able to park my car at certain places etc. Step 3: I currently study at Linnéuniversity at Växjö but will move back home to Gothenburg when im done. The opportunity for work and study is very good at Växjö. Companies collaborate with the university and students are welcomed with open arms after graduating. Housing is getting better, it was worse a few years ago, almost impossible to find a good home for a student. These days you will need to stand in line for about 200 days to get a studentappartment. They are building very many homes recently to avoid this, since Växjö is expanding both in the work sector and the university. The environment is very good at Växjö, they aim to be the greenest city in Europe. They have many parks and green areas, alot of artistic art, statues, fountains etc and most of the people travel by bicikle. The safety in Växjö is pretty good, althought some incidences happens when alot of different cultures are mixed in certain places like campus or segregated areas. Safety is no problem at Växjö overall. Actions taken to the city already is the expansion of building more offices and homes. The university itself is also expanding which also would need more houses. I believe, even if they are building alot of houses, they would need more. It is already hard to find a place to live there so why not take the opportunity when everyone is building so much to build more households. All of these constructions have an impact on the environemnt which would demand more green areas around the city and a better transportation infrastructure. Every aspect mentioned above would have to be enhanced to be able to keep the city liveable as it is now.
