Step 1 Making a comparison of the provided information I will think the cities are:: • Vienna • Zurich • Munich • Vancouver • Auckland Step 2 I will think that five characteristics that make a city liveable are: • Security • Traffic • Noise • Infrastructure • Education Step 3 Status of my city: 1. Security in the city is bad in many places, there are areas that have municipal security but in general an atmosphere of insecurity is perceived, perhaps it could be improved by making the security system independent and making laws stricter with faster judgments, increasing the number of surveillance cameras and a rapid response system all check in an central control place. 2. The distances that the city has and the lack of adequate roads make going from one place to another very difficult and time-consuming, coupled with a public transport system that does not satisfy the demand, make many people prefer to go on their own vehicles, improving the transport system and roads could improve the situation. 3. The noise in the city is due to traffic and fast roads near the city center, bad zoning and lack of control has made factories work near homes, the airport in the middle of the city and noise generated by construction works make that better in many place, a better planning and zoning will improve this situation. 4. The lack of a good public infrastructure, starting with the road already mentioned, we also see lack of public health infrastructure and education, few green areas and in many cases neglected (some municipalities are very careful and are exemplary) in many cases due to the inefficiency of the authorities, a good example is the green coast (see photo) a large coastal area without proper treatment. One of the biggest problems of such a large city is that it does not have waste treatment systems. 5. Education related to the culture of the people, Lima is a city that grew a lot and disorderly due to the effect of the migrations and many of the people do not have culture of city and community, is reflected in the dirt in the streets, the lack of road education and disorder is reflected in constructions in many areas by not respecting public space.
