I travel few moths ago to Emirates and I visited Dubai and Abu Dhabi. I choose this picture because i think is self explanatory. I took the picture at one of the last station of the metro and it shows the dependency on electricity of the city. Electricity that in this specific case will be use for lights ad mostly air conditioning. Another dependency for low class and middle class workers is the public transportation, the metro in this case. Local inhabits are depends on cars and that come along with the fact that the city is build mostly on road for cars.
