Pedestrian always prioritized and there are roads available for the use of bicycles. Despite being a small city, there plenty of public green spaces that merge greenery and historic buildings. In Guildford the air quality is high since it is mainly a residential town. Private transportation can be a problem at some times of the day. However, each driver respects the others. Despite having small traffic issues, Guildford could improve this by re-designing the main roads that connect to London.
