This picture shows one of Denmarks biggest energy producer. Denmark is a flat country with more than 7000km of coastline, which means lot of wind coming from the seas and blowing over the land. Therefor Denmark is one of the biggest wind energy producer. The wind mils can be found in small groups like in the picture or in larg park which are most of the time offshore. The produced energy is transported through big cables under water or through power lines over the country to reach the different end producers in various city around the country. In Sonderborg and the surrounding territory a huge amount of energy comes from the close by wind mills, solar parks or other alternative energy sources. The picture can be found on a website of an interesting project for the Sonderborg region that wants to drastically reduce the CO2 emission. If you want to know more http://brightgreenbusiness.com/
