As stated in the videos, the most common construction method in Mexico is reinforced concrete. Even though Monterrey has one of the biggest concrete and cement companies of the world, we do not have enough wood for the formwork, so it is usually imported from the US or other countries. The reinforced steel is produced in the country but it usually not enough to fullfill the demand so it is many times imported from other cities. Other materials that are usually not locally produce are the prefabricated panels.
