I live in the city of Campinas, which is the second largest city in the state of Sao Paulo. First of all I was born here so most of my family lives in Campinas, but they moved here because of various job opportunities the city offers. In addition, many universities, including one of the best in the country are located in the city. For being quite a big municipality, it offers various health care institutions. It can also be considered safer than the city of Sao Paulo, which is known for its regular robberies and assaults. It is internationally connected, containing an international airport To what extend does your own place of residence fulfill your ideal livability criteria? The city of Campinas is not ideal and it has to do with the lack of organization. I believe its degree of accomplishment is of about 60%, regarding my ideal livability criteria. This estimation is based on the lack of governmental investment in the cities in general, including Campinas. I live in a country known for its political corruption, which in this case, applies to the lack of money towards cities infrastructure, organization and education. What would you change? I were in a position where I could impose changes, I’d start by implementing a functioning system of public education. I believe that is the base for creating an intelligent and progressive society. I would also reform the existing public health care spaces which are poorly structured and if it were maintained and organized, could function a lot better. Why do we move? If I could change my place of residence I’d live in: Italy - 1.Education 2.Job Opportunities 3.International Connectivity 4.Infrastructure 5.Culture France - 1.Education 2.International Connectivity 3.Housing 4.Infrastrucure 5.Culture Portugal - 1.Similar language 2.Culture 3.Education 4.Job Opportunities 5.Safety
