The image displays the central axis of Brasilia with the Congress in the background with the ministries to the sides and the hotel sectors at the left and right. The city was planned completely from scratch in just about 5 years and provides many interesting insights. Traffic jams are seldom (compared to other Brazilian cities) and sectors are strictly divided. On the one hand, plannung and city development remain in public hands completely, even 50 years after the city's creation. On the other hand, the separation of business/politics/housing areas causes long ways, only manageable by car. The city of the future?
