I usually choose alternative 1.Comparing with alternative 2, I have to pay more using taxi,however,crowded subway and the long distance to the nearest station make me using taxi.Besides, I have more chance to walk in alternative 1. The third alternative is the least favorable one since heavy traffic is considerably annoying,having to drive in traffic. To sum up, traveling to work is a major serious criteria as there is usually long travel distance, heavy traffic, unpleasant environment and very little chance for walking or cycling.
