Identifying Stocks and Flows: The fort Kochi region of Cochin houses this age old Democratic Youth Federation of India kiosk where members meet to discuss the daily events over a cup of 'chai' and a collection of morning news papers. The important stocks include the building that houses the organisation, the furniture, and sources of information such as books and news papers. The flows are represented by the moving crowds who might be regular or occasional visitors entering the neighborhood. Findings: In this scenario, the stocks become the important factor that attracts flow by inviting interested members from the neighboring localities. Future Benefits: Considering the fact that it is not possible to draw uninterested people to support an ideology, the kiosk, and its unique, simple characteristic, might continue to preserve the interests of the group of interested members of the locality, and encourage, or create interest and curiosity in the minds of the others such as myself and continue to influence the dynamics of the locality.
