Citizen Design Science for Japan There are two activities in Japan: "Workshop" and "Smart City*". Workshop discusses the city's ability to work with the mayor, planner, architect, designer, and citizens in creating new facilities and developments. While "Smart City” is more likely a solution process leading the markets using cutting edge technology of their investing systems, its process is focused on profits in the consuming system and has to be carried out with citizen. This problem is the basis of the developments. I would like to fix the procedure motioned below: 1.Establish the organization 2.Team up with Environment(Infrastructure) and Design in the organization involving citizen as supervisors 3.Build the prototype like the garden city by Ebenezer Howard. It could be controlled car, bicycle and house sharing as well as traffic and transportation. Also their energy consumption and loss are reduced. Be carefully to operate as wide as possible to work on this phase 4.Predict the forecasting and disaster preparing the energy resources 5.Keep safe for activities: Walkability, Accessibility in any situations Urban planning takes long time. You might know The High Line planed about two decades. However technology is going faster than urban developments.
