The five cities are: Fargo, Bismarck, Minneapolis, Seattle, and Grand Forks. The top five characteristics are: Not too hot, economic sustainability, not too busy, progressive, and culturally aesthetic. My own city of Fargo is well-balanced in respect to temperature. We don't use a lot of AC, but we do heat a lot in the winter months. There are four distinct seasons (for now) in North Dakota, the temperature never really exceeds expectation. Fargo has been growing by leaps and bounds in the economic sector with hundreds of new businesses. However, Fargo is relatively slow moving as far as traffic is concerned. Commutes are determined in minutes rather than hours or miles. A 20 minute commute to work is considered long. Fargo is also forward-thinking in its planning and design. Renewable energies, and walkability are high on the agenda. We are also a very culturally diverse community. There is always something to do or attend in the arts. We have people living here from over 125 different countries. It makes for a very vibrant and enduring city.
