Note- I did not take this photo my self, I retrieved it from zuerich.com Safety - 95 Culture - 85 Climate - 90 Education - 90 Transportation - 90 Zurich – I am not financially independent and my parents live in Zurich. The safety and transportation of Zurich is almost impeccable, with very high standards. The climate and the surroundings make it a very nice place to live and the education is also of a very high level. I think Zurich is a solid 90 for liveability. The reason it is not higher are for other reasons than what the top five are listed for. I also think that nothing can be perfect so, the scores that I do give reflect that as well. While it is not only related to the city, the high cost of living in Zurich does detract from the score, but and would be something that could be improved to improve liveability. I would also like to live in Berlin, for the same reasons as Zurich with a higher score for culture there, and a lower cost of living. The safety would also be less but the public transportation is still as good.
