The image I uploaded is of a Wind Farm, located in Cerro de Hula, part of the sierra in Lepaterique located between the biosphere reserve of Hierba Buena, and the biological reserve of Uyuca. These types of Wind Farms are common in developed countries and have represented enormous direct and indirect benefits to the country. It was first conceived as a future solution to the production of electricity in the country. It currently produces around 6% of the electrical energy of Honduras.
