The attached image shows one example each of the various ecosystem services available in my area. 1 - provisioning services: the fields and farms in my area, as this is an agrarian region. 2 - regulating services: the woodland, which provides a green canopy and acts as a climate-controlling component of the city. 3 - habitat supporting services: the water bodies in my area, which are home to all sorts of wildlife including ducks, geese, swans and various migratory birds. 4 - cultural services: the old church and similar historically significant / artistic monuments in the city area These pictures were obtained from Wikimedia Commons and have been marked for non-commercial reuse.
