FC-01x Future Cities (Self-Paced) - Exercise 1 : "Making the Invisible - Visible"
Uploaded on 2017-05-28 by Emile Menard
This is a bus stop, the visible information here is that this is a location with relative importance to a number of people, as the public transportation system stops here. The invisible information comes from the smart card that tracks user data for use on public transportation. The two pieces of invisible information are: Travel behavior such as which age groups travel at which times, and travel behavior such as which areas are travelled to the most. The second piece of information can be used by urban planners to understand what places attract the most circulation. they can then use this information to study those specific areas to figure out what people want, need, and like.
